In light of our vision to invite people to taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8) we encourage everyone to engage in three different ways of meeting God in his Word as part of this church community: 
  1. listening to the Bible explained and applied every Sunday in the sermon,
  2. meeting in smaller groups (what we call ‘growth groups’) to read the Bible together and encourage one another and pray, and 
  3. reading the Bible one-on-one with another person.
Growth groups are a vital part of the second way mentioned here. We have a number of groups that meet together on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, some during the day and some in the evening. The intent of these groups is to study the Bible together, to encourage one another to live the good life as defined by Jesus, and to encounter Jesus in a way that continually transforms us.

Adult Classes

 One of our primary times each week for spiritual formation is during the Sunday School hour before our corporate worship on Sundays. Our adult classes run through several different courses each year, taught by various leaders in our church family. The classes meet Sundays from 9:00 am to 10:00 am from September to June. Youth

The teenage years between Middle and High School are some of the most formative years in a young person’s life. At PCKS, we believe that teens need to know God’s goodness during this critical juncture. ROOTS is a ministry for teens in 7th-12th grade, it’s a place where they can meet with one another to joke and laugh; where they can relax and be themselves but most importantly it’s a place where they can taste and see God’s abounding grace through the good news of Jesus. We invite you to join us for ROOTS every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM, and we pray that God would bless this time to grow our teens in every way in Christ.

Children's Ministry

We love that kids feel free to kick off their shoes and be at home at PCKS! PCKS’s Children’s Ministry brings the heart of the gospel to the heart of the child so that they might place their trust in Jesus, grow in their knowledge and love of God, and live their lives in grateful response to his grace. At PCKS, we strive to help them grow in their faith, develop their relationship with Jesus, live in light of the gospel of grace, and cultivate this in a variety of ways. Children’s programs during the Sunday morning service include ‘Storypeekers Jr.’ (ages 3-5), and ‘Storykeepers’ (ages 6-11). In addition to Sunday worship, children have an opportunity to participate in special events held throughout the year.

Nursery

For parents of children ages 0 through 3 years old, PCKS’s nursery is conveniently located down the hall from the sanctuary and is available from 10:15 am to 12:30 pm on Sundays. Please let the nursery staff know of your child’s needs. We look forward to caring for your child in our loving, safe, warm, and healthy environment.

Moms and Tots


Moms and Tots is a relaxed weekly space for moms and little ones to connect, play, and enjoy time together. Come for conversation, community, and a fun breather in the middle of your week. We meet on Wednesdays from 9:00–10:30 a.m.—outside on the playground when the weather is nice, and inside in the nursery when it’s not.
